The newly inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to increase passenger numbers and expand flight routes. Riyadh Air’s CEO, Tony Douglas, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the vast potential of the Chinese market for the airline’s future network growth. Earlier in June, Riyadh Air solidified agreements with major carriers Singapore Airlines and Air China to establish strategic partnerships and expand its global network. The focus of these partnerships includes interline connectivity, codeshare arrangements, and potential collaboration in areas such as frequent flyer programs, cargo services, customer experience, and digital innovation.
