Royal Tribute: Riyadh Exhibition Honors Princess Hessa’s Legacy

Prince Sultan bin Salman Inaugurates “Beit Al-Masaneh” Exhibition

In a grand ceremony, Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the executive committee and member of the board of trustees of the Princess Hessa bint Ahmed Al-Sudairi Charitable Foundation, officially opened the “Beit Al-Masaneh” exhibition on Saturday.

The exhibition serves as a tribute to the late Princess Hessa, wife of the late King Abdulaziz, showcasing her personal belongings within her home, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Each item on display at the exhibition comes with its own unique story, providing visitors with a glimpse into the life of Princess Hessa. From palace furniture to historical documents and old photographs, the exhibition offers a comprehensive look at her legacy.

Born to Prince Ahmed Al-Sudairi and Princess Sharifa Al-Suwaidi, Princess Hessa moved from Al-Ghat to Riyadh after marrying King Abdulaziz. She lived among his wives at Al-Murabba Palace before eventually settling at Nasiriyah Palace, a place she held dear. In 1960, King Abdulaziz gifted the farm on which the palace stood to Princess Hessa, who passed away nine years later.

Situated on Wadi Hanifah, south of Riyadh, the area surrounding Nasiriyah Palace was known as Al-Masaneh, forever linked to the memory of Princess Hessa.
