Iran Strikes Back Against Israel
On Saturday, Iran launched drones and missiles against Israel in retaliation for an Israeli air strike that destroyed an Iranian embassy annex building in Damascus, Syria. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people, including two generals of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard.
The Saudi ministry also called on the Security Council to take action in maintaining international peace and security, particularly in the sensitive region and to prevent further escalation of the crisis.
