Saudi Tourism Minister Leads Delegation at UNWTO Meeting in Muscat
In a display of leadership and collaboration, Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb spearheaded the Kingdom’s delegation at the UN World Tourism Organization’s 50th meeting of the regional committee for the Middle East, held in Muscat on Wednesday.
During his impassioned speech, Minister Al-Khateeb emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with member states to implement innovative regional tourism initiatives aimed at attracting a diverse array of international visitors to the region.
Expressing gratitude, Minister Al-Khateeb extended his thanks to Omani Minister of Heritage and Tourism Salem Al-Mahrouqi for the warm hospitality extended to the delegation. He also commended UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili and other officials for their unwavering dedication to advancing the global tourism sector.
