Riyadh to Host WWD Global Fashion Summit and Fashion Awards
In a groundbreaking move, Riyadh is gearing up to host the prestigious Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) Global Fashion Summit and the inaugural Fashion Awards at the King Abdullah Financial District on June 6.
Partnering with the Saudi Fashion Commission and King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company, these events will shine a spotlight on the achievements in the fashion, beauty, and retail industries, recognizing the remarkable contributions of designers and companies.
This year’s summit will feature a mix of local talents and international fashion leaders, offering a series of engaging workshops and conference sessions at the KAFD Conference Center.
As the sun sets, the Fashion Awards will take center stage, honoring the accomplishments of Saudi designers through a prestigious ceremony. One of the most coveted awards of the night will be the Designer of the Year, acknowledging a creative force that has left a lasting impact on the fashion industry.
Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, expressed his excitement about this momentous occasion, saying, “We are thrilled to witness the burgeoning fashion industry in Saudi Arabia gaining global recognition.
