Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Strike on UN School in Gaza
In a strong statement released on Sunday, Saudi Arabia vehemently condemned and denounced the Israeli strike on a UN-run school in Gaza where thousands of displaced Palestinians were seeking refuge.
According to the Gaza health ministry, the strike on the school, operated by the UN agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA, resulted in the tragic deaths of 16 individuals in Nuseirat, central Gaza.
The Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia reiterated the Kingdom’s firm stance against Israel’s deliberate targeting of innocent civilians. It called for an immediate ceasefire and urged for the protection of civilians, aid facilities, and humanitarian workers in the region.
Furthermore, Saudi Arabia emphasized the urgent need to activate international accountability measures to address the continuous violations of international humanitarian laws and resolutions by Israel.
