Saudi Arabia’s Stunning Camel Parade Stuns Paris – Must See!

Saudi Arabia Shines in Camel Parade in France

In a grand celebration of the UN’s designation of 2024 as International Year of Camelids, Saudi Arabia is making its mark at a special Camel Parade in France on Saturday.

Organized by the French Federation for the Development of Camelids in France and Europe, in collaboration with the International Camel Organization, the event is proudly sponsored by the Saudi Ministry of Culture and the Kingdom’s Camel Club.

This year marks the third edition of the Camel Parade, following successful events in January 2019 and 2022.

Expecting over 50 representatives from camel-related organizations across more than 30 countries, the parade will feature a variety of camelid creatures including camels, llamas, alpacas, and more. Participants range from camel breeders to government officials, all coming together with a shared passion for these majestic animals.

Countries represented include the US, UAE, Qatar, Oman, and many others, showcasing their unique contributions to the event and the global camel community.

Saudi representatives are proud to highlight the Kingdom’s rich heritage associated with camels, emphasizing their cultural significance and enduring prestige in Saudi society.

Leading up to the parade, engaging discussions were held at the historical Chateau de Janvry center, exploring the cultural heritage of camels worldwide and the diverse influences of participating nations.

Following the parade, a grand reception will be held for esteemed guests, including representatives from various sectors such as academia, research centers, and international organizations.

2024 being designated as the International Year of Camelids by the UN aims to honor and elevate the camel sector, recognizing its vital role in enhancing food security and driving economic growth globally.
