Saudi Arabia’s TASI Surges to New High at 12,723 – Closing Bell Update

Saudi Stock Market Shows Strong Performance

In a bullish trading session, Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index surged by 0.87 percent to close at 12,723.15 points. Investors saw gains across the board, with the MSCI Tadawul 30 Index also climbing by 0.39 percent to finish at 1,605.34.

The parallel market, Nomu, mirrored the positive trend as it closed the day at 26,680.90 points, up by 0.89 percent.

Trading volume on the TASI reached SR11.38 billion ($3.03 billion), with 166 stocks advancing and 52 declining. The standout performer of the day was Saudi Chemical Co., with its share price jumping by 10 percent to SR7.06.

Following closely behind was Amana Cooperative Insurance Co., which saw a 9.93 percent increase in its share price to reach SR16.38. Other notable gainers included Arabian Contracting Services Co. and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co., with their share prices rising by 9.92 percent and 9.39 percent, respectively.

On the Nomu market, International Human Resources Co. stole the spotlight with a 12.98 percent surge in its share price to SR4.70. Lana Medical Co. and Watani Iron Steel Co. also saw significant gains, with their share prices increasing by 7.89 percent and 7.02 percent, respectively.

However, not all stocks performed well on the market. AYYAN Investment Co. and Saudi Steel Pipe Co. were among the worst performers, with their share prices dropping by 2.18 percent and 5.49 percent, respectively.

Quara Finance Co. faced a major setback on the Nomu market, as its share price plummeted by 17.45 percent to SR17.22. Mulkia Investment Co. and Arabian Plastic Industrial Co. also experienced losses, with their share prices declining by 9.89 percent and 9.66 percent, respectively.
