The estimated street value of the seized drugs is a whopping $1.8 million, according to reports by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.
This recent success comes hot on the heels of another victory on Friday, where border guards in the same region intercepted a plot to smuggle 52 kilograms of hashish into the country. Additionally, authorities in Jazan managed to prevent the trafficking of a massive 243 kilograms of qat.
