Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Discusses Sudanese Situation with Sudanese Leaders
In a series of phone calls on Wednesday, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan engaged with Sudan’s Sovereign Council Chief General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and the leader of Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions revolved around the recent developments in Sudan and their impact on the Sudanese people.
Prince Faisal emphasized the urgent need to safeguard Sudan and its citizens from further harm, as well as to prevent the deterioration of humanitarian conditions in the country.
Highlighting the importance of prioritizing the well-being of the Sudanese people, the minister called for an end to the violence in order to protect state institutions and restore stability in Sudan.
