Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Sends Letter to Iran’s President on Relations
In a diplomatic move, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has reached out to Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian with a letter addressing the relations between the two nations.
The message was hand-delivered by Minister of State Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz during his visit to Tehran on Tuesday for talks with top Iranian officials, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday.
Prince Mansour extended best wishes from the Saudi monarch and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Iranian people during the reception.
The event was attended by Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji and the Saudi Ambassador to Iran Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, along with several Iranian government officials including Foreign Affairs Acting Minister Ali Bagheri Kani.
