Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Congratulates Russian President Putin on Re-election
In a show of diplomatic camaraderie, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reached out to Russian President Vladimir Putin in a phone call that took place in the early hours of Tuesday, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
During the call, the Crown Prince extended his heartfelt congratulations to Putin on securing a new presidential term in office.
In response, Putin expressed his gratitude towards the Crown Prince for his kind sentiments.
“The call emphasized the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and explored avenues for further enhancing cooperation across various sectors,” as reported by the SPA.
Prior to this, both King Salman and the Crown Prince had also separately conveyed their well-wishes to the Russian president through cables sent out in light of his re-election.
