In a move to ensure the security of the upcoming Hajj season, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar, the minister of the National Guard, recently conducted an inspection of ministry forces, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

The inspection is part of Saudi Arabia’s relentless efforts to guarantee the safety and well-being of pilgrims, in line with the directives of the country’s leadership.

Detailed military parade showcases preparedness of ministry forces

During his visit to Makkah’s Al-Shara’i district, Prince Abdullah witnessed a meticulously organized military parade themed “Ease and Reassurance.”

The parade served as a demonstration of the readiness and capabilities of the ministry’s forces tasked with ensuring the safety of pilgrims throughout their sacred journey.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, the director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, also conducted an inspection of security forces and military support authorities involved in serving pilgrims at the holy sites.

Al-Bassami affirmed that his organization has meticulously prepared security and organizational plans aimed at ensuring the security, safety, and comfort of the pilgrims.

He emphasized that the security forces are fully prepared to respond decisively and robustly to any potential threats that could jeopardize the safety of pilgrims or disrupt their religious rituals.
