Saudi and French Officials Discuss Defense Cooperation in Paris
In a high-level meeting in Paris, Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi and French delegate general for armaments Emmanuel Chiva led discussions on enhancing defense cooperation between their two countries.
The meeting, which marked the fifth gathering of the Saudi-French Defense Cooperation Committee, focused on ways to further develop defense research and development in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, according to a statement from the ministry.
Apart from the official meeting, Al-Otaibi also engaged in talks with key leaders of major French industrial companies to explore potential collaboration opportunities in military industries and other sectors.
