Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister meets UK Minister of State for Development and Africa

In a diplomatic meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji welcomed UK Minister of State for Development and Africa Andrew Mitchell on Monday, discussing various topics of common interest and ways to strengthen the relations between their countries, as stated by the foreign ministry.

The meeting, attended by the UK’s Ambassador to the Kingdom Neil Crompton, emphasized the importance of collaboration and cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the UK.

High-Level Talks and Discussions

Elkhereiji also engaged in discussions with the British Special Envoy for the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa, Sarah Montgomery, and her delegation, focusing on significant regional and international developments.

Furthermore, Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Envoy for Climate Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir met with Mitchell at the ministry’s office in Riyadh to delve into various regional and international issues of mutual concern, showcasing the commitment to dialogue and cooperation.

Future Collaborative Meetings

During his visit, Mitchell is anticipated to meet with the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Al Marshad, and Assistant Finance Minister and G20 Sherpa Abdulmuhsen Al Khalaf, highlighting the ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral relations and address global challenges together.
