Saudi Yoga Committee and Ministry Join Forces to Promote Well-Being

In a groundbreaking move, the Saudi Yoga Committee and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development have officially partnered to advocate for the benefits of yoga within the community. The goal is to improve overall well-being and showcase yoga as a valuable tool for enhancing quality of life.

Employees will be encouraged to incorporate yoga practices into their daily routines, while workers in ministry-operated care centers and shelters will receive resources to help them manage stress, enhance focus, and boost their physical and mental health.

Both parties are dedicated to establishing harmonious and balanced work environments that prioritize the holistic well-being of employees and those they serve, aligning with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 national development plan.

Princess Mishael bint Faisal, the vice chair of the Saudi Yoga Committee, and Huda Al-Haidari, director of the ministry’s social responsibility department in Riyadh region, participated in the signing ceremony, emphasizing the significance of this collaboration.

Princess Mishael highlighted the importance of creating equal opportunities for all members of society and investing in the human capital of youth, a key aspect of Vision 2030. She emphasized the words of the crown prince, stating that youth are the Kingdom’s greatest asset, and investing in them is crucial for societal advancement and achieving the vision.

This partnership will provide individuals with the opportunity to engage in various sports and therapeutic yoga practices, leveraging the benefits of sports science to benefit society as a whole.
