Saudi Minister engages in high-level talks at G20 Development Ministerial Meeting in Brazil
Saudi Arabia’s Economy and Planning Minister Faisal bin Fadel Alibrahim has been actively participating in discussions with officials from various nations to address the state of the global economy at the G20 Development Ministerial Meeting in Brazil.
Meeting with Brazil’s Foreign Affairs Minister
During the G20 meeting, Alibrahim engaged in talks with Brazil’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mauro Vieira to discuss the agenda under Brazil’s presidency of the G20. The discussions also focused on ways to enhance cooperation in sectors such as infrastructure, agribusiness, and renewable energy, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Collaboration with the OECD
Alibrahim also met with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Secretary-General Mathias Cormann to discuss regional and global economic developments, as well as Saudi Arabia’s collaboration with the OECD.
Strategic discussions with Singapore’s Minister
Furthermore, the Minister engaged in discussions with Singapore’s Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education Mohamad Maliki Osman. The talks centered on enhancing relations in various sectors including industrial, education, investment, and finance.
