Secrets Revealed: Shocking Truth About Makkah Slaughterhouse Inspections Before Hajj

Saudi Ministry Ensures Health Regulations at Makkah Slaughterhouses During Hajj

In a bid to maintain health standards during the bustling Hajj period, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture is leaving no stone unturned in inspecting slaughterhouses in Makkah.

With detailed operational plans in place, the ministry is meticulously organizing workforce deployment, slaughter scheduling, and work shift organization to ensure seamless operations.

Dedicated teams are on standby to monitor waste disposal practices and ensure the proper use of equipment and machinery, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.

As the ministry ramps up supervision of slaughterhouses and livestock pens, strict adherence to health regulations is paramount to create a safe and hygienic environment for pilgrims, while safeguarding the environment from hazardous practices.

For most Hajj pilgrims, sacrificing an animal is a crucial part of completing their pilgrimage. The only exception is for pilgrims performing the Hajj Al-Ifrad, which excludes performing Umrah.

Typically, the sacrifice takes place on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah, although it can extend until sunset on the 12th.
