Dubai-based model Shanina Shaik, who hails from Australia and has Saudi, Pakistani, and Lithuanian roots, recently participated in her first Mother’s Day campaign with fashion platform Witchery. The campaign coincided with the Australian celebration of Mother’s Day on May 12.
Shaik, who shares a son named Zai Adesuyan Matthew with her partner, Matthew Adesuyan, showcased their toddler in the campaign video. The video captures heartwarming moments of Zai laughing on his mother’s lap in a studio setting.
In a heartwarming video shared with her 3.4 million Instagram followers, Shaik humorously mentioned how motherhood has brought out more patience in her. She expressed understanding for her own mother, acknowledging the worries and concerns that come with wanting to protect one’s child.
Describing motherhood as ‘powerful,’ Shaik highlighted the bond between a mother and child as the purest form of love.
Shaik announced the birth of her son Zai in September 2022, expressing her love for him and her partner. She shared her journey of adjusting to motherhood and the challenges and joys it brings.
