Riyadh Police Crack Down on Drug Promoters

In a recent bust, Riyadh police officers have apprehended two Pakistani residents for pushing the highly addictive drug methamphetamine, also known as shabu.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, legal actions have been taken against the culprits, who have since been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.

Authorities have urged citizens and residents to report any suspicious activities related to drug smuggling or promotion by contacting the police at the emergency hotline numbers (911) in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah regions, and (999) in other parts of the Kingdom.

The crackdown on drug promotion underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining law and order and protecting the community from the harmful effects of substance abuse.
