Shocking Revelation: Coalition Cleared of Rights Violations in Yemen

Riyadh Conference Reveals Investigation Results on Allegations Against Coalition Forces in Yemen

The Joint Incident Assessment Team convened in Riyadh for a conference to unveil the findings of their investigations into accusations against coalition forces in Yemen.

Details of the Incidents

The report presented by the team highlighted three specific incidents, including allegations of coalition forces targeting two houses in the Sha’aban area, a civilian house in Al-Hudaydah governorate, and the Al-Ghail Health Center in Al-Ghail.

Spokesman’s Statement

Mansour Al-Mansour, the spokesperson for the team, addressed the claims made in the ninth periodic report of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights in Yemen. He stated that coalition forces targeted two houses in the Sha’aban area, resulting in casualties and destruction.

Al-Mansour clarified that the investigation concluded that the coalition forces conducted an air mission on a military target located 4.5 km away from the alleged houses, using one guided bomb that successfully hit its mark.

Investigation Findings

Regarding the accusation of targeting a civilian house in Al-Jirahi directorate of Al-Hudaydah governorate, the JIAT determined that the coalition did not conduct any air missions in the area on the specified date.

Similarly, the coalition was cleared of allegations made by Physicians for Human Rights regarding an incident at the Al-Ghail Health Center. JIAT found that the targeted location was being used by Houthi militia as a military center, and the coalition successfully hit a military target nearby with one guided bomb.
