Shocking: Saudi Arabia Takes Stand Against Israeli Assault on Rafah

Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Attacks on Rafah

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Israeli attacks on Rafah, denouncing the targeting of tents of displaced Palestinians near UNRWA warehouses that resulted in the deaths of at least 40 people, including children and women.

Foreign Ministry’s Statement

The Saudi foreign ministry expressed its rejection of the blatant violations committed by the Israeli occupation forces, emphasizing that these actions go against international and humanitarian laws. The Kingdom called on the international community to intervene immediately.

Saudi Foreign Minister’s Response

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as completely unacceptable. He reiterated that the two-state solution is crucial for achieving permanent peace and security in the region. Prince Faisal also mentioned that several European countries are considering officially recognizing the State of Palestine to support the two-state solution.

International Outcry

Jordan also condemned the Israeli attacks, referring to them as “ongoing war crimes.” The country emphasized the need for accountability and international action to hold Israel responsible for its actions. Additionally, Turkiye, France, and Kuwait joined in condemning the attacks and called for immediate intervention by the international community.

Arab League and OIC Statements

The Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation issued separate statements condemning the continuous Israeli aggression on UNRWA refugee camps in Rafah. They vowed to present these crimes to international courts to hold Israel accountable for its actions.

Latest Developments

The attacks in Rafah occurred shortly after the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to end its military offensive in the area. While Israel claimed to have targeted Hamas militants, reports indicated civilian casualties. The situation remains tense as tens of thousands of people are still in the area, with many fleeing due to the ongoing violence.
