US actress Sofia Carson turned heads at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony in a breathtaking gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab.
Carson, known for her love of Lebanese labels, chose an olive-toned ensemble from Saab’s Spring/Summer 2024 couture collection, exuding elegance and sophistication on the red carpet.

Styled by Erin Walsh, Carson posed for photos in the stunning Elie Saab creation, featuring a draped skirt and intricate embellishments on the neckline.
Carson’s affinity for Lebanese designers was previously showcased in her red carpet appearances. In 2022, she donned a Zuhair Murad ensemble in New York, followed by a memorable appearance in a Murad outfit at the Global Citizen Festival in 2023.
At the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Arab-created looks took center stage, with Saudi designer Eman Al-Ajlan dressing British model Leomie Anderson in a striking mini dress with a net-like skirt at the amfAR Gala.
Other celebrities opted for gowns by Murad, including German model Toni Garrn, sports commentator Alex Scott, and Brazilian model Thayna Soares. The red carpet also saw glamorous appearances by Kim Dammer in a Rami Kadi gown and Hande Ercel in Nicolas Jebran creation.
Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri dazzled in a silver dress by Jean Pierre Khoury, further highlighting the talent and creativity of Lebanese designers at the prestigious event.
