Somalian President Visits Museum of Prophet’s Biography in Madinah
In a recent visit to the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in Madinah, Somalian President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was captivated by the interactive displays and historical artifacts.
Museum Overview
Launched in February 2021 under the supervision of the Muslim World League, the museum stands as a testament to the rich history of the Islamic world and the life of Prophet Muhammad.
Interactive Displays
President Mohamud was briefed on a variety of displays, including a biography of Prophet Muhammad, models of Makkah and Madinah, the Hijrah route, atlases, maps, and educational tools that offer a comprehensive look into Islamic history.

At the conclusion of his visit, President Mohamud praised the project’s scope and its potential to benefit the Islamic nation, recognizing the importance of preserving and showcasing the legacy of Prophet Muhammad.
Exhibition Highlights
The museum features more than 25,000 instances of the Prophet Muhammad’s miraculous work, with dozens of paintings, interactive displays, and a state-of-the-art 4DX theater screening films about the Prophet’s life.
Dedication to Women in Islam
One pavilion in the exhibition is dedicated to the history of women in Islam, emphasizing their crucial role in spreading a message of truth and virtue, as well as their significance in the life of Prophet Muhammad.
Technological Advancements
A 3D, virtual-reality, and augmented-reality technology pavilion allows visitors to explore and learn about the personal possessions of Prophet Muhammad, from his furniture and clothing to even his comb, providing a unique and immersive experience.
