Imaan Hammam Shines in Jacquemus’ “Les Sculptures” Campaign
Imaan Hammam, the Dutch Moroccan Egyptian model, stole the spotlight this week as the face of Jacquemus’ latest campaign, “Les Sculptures.”
In a series of captivating images shared on both Hammam’s and the brand’s Instagram pages, the model was elegantly posed atop pedestals, showcasing a stunning array of ensembles from the label’s newest collection.
Shot amidst the charming streets of Paris, the settings included locations outside a pharmacy and within a studio, adding an artistic flair to the campaign.
Stunning Black-and-White Ensemble
One of the standout images featured Hammam draped in a printed black-and-white coat, characterized by its elevated collar and dramatically curved sleeves. The design is reminiscent of the coat worn by Gigi Hadid during Jacquemus’ January show in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, France.
To complement her ensemble, Hammam carried a matching bag with the same print as her coat, seamlessly blending with her attire. She completed the look with black tights and open-toed ankle-strap heels.
Chic and Mysterious Hooded Look
In another striking shot, Hammam reclined on the pedestal, donning a figure-hugging black dress with a hood that partially covered her face, adding a touch of mystery and allure to the campaign.
Glamorous Collection Presentation
The “Les Sculptures” collection was initially unveiled during the January show in Saint-Paul-De-Vence, capturing the essence of Jacquemus’ unique vision.
With this collection, Simon Porte Jacquemus, the maison’s creative director, aimed to move past recent challenges in his business with a grandiose show attended by celebrities like Julia Roberts and Kylie Jenner.
The collection featured a minimalist color palette of black and white, with pops of vibrant red, showcasing elegant designs with surreal touches like exaggerated sleeves and unique silhouettes.
A Collaborative Journey
This is not Hammam’s first collaboration with Jacquemus. In 2021, she graced the label’s Spring 2021 campaign alongside fellow part-Arab models Nora Attal and Malika El-Maslouhi, showcasing her versatility and style.
The independent label, founded in 2009, has experienced rapid growth, partly due to the founder’s engaging social media presence, which sets it apart from its competitors with a more welcoming and inclusive approach.
