Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan meets with Turkish counterpart in Cairo
In a diplomatic rendezvous amidst the hustle and bustle of an Arab League meeting in Cairo, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan sat down with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on Tuesday.
The meeting was a platform for the two ministers to delve into discussions on Saudi-Turkish cooperation, as well as to dissect the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the ongoing war in Gaza.
In addition to his meeting with Fidan, Prince Faisal also had a separate tête-à-tête with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, on the same day. The duo engaged in talks regarding the final preparations for the imminent launch of the Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council.
Prince Faisal’s presence in Cairo is part of his attendance at an Arab League foreign ministers meeting, amplifying Saudi Arabia’s active engagement on the regional diplomatic stage.
