Unbelievable! Civil Defense checks over 10K facilities in Ramadan

Riyadh’s Civil Defense Ensures Safety During Ramadan

The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Riyadh has been on a mission, conducting a staggering 10,047 inspections of accommodations and facilities in Makkah and Madinah during the holy month of Ramadan. Their goal? To ensure that all locations meet safety requirements and comply with regulations.

In Makkah, the emergency forces of the Civil Defense are working tirelessly to uphold the security and safety of Umrah performers. Their dedication knows no bounds.

The directorate has reassured the public of their readiness to handle any potential dangers. With specialized teams in place, they are prepared to swiftly respond to firefighting and rescue incidents, putting lives and property first. Additionally, they are offering humanitarian services to pilgrims and visitors at Makkah’s Grand Mosque.

But that’s not all. The teams are also actively educating the public on preventive safety measures in residential facilities and shelters for Umrah performers and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.

Through a comprehensive campaign, daily awareness messages are being disseminated across various platforms, including Civil Defense social media accounts, road screens, text messages, and billboards.

To further drive home the importance of safety, the directorate organized an awareness exhibition at the Haramain High-Speed Railway Station. Here, Umrah performers and Grand Mosque visitors were educated on safety systems.

And to add a modern twist, visitors were introduced to a smart robot capable of speaking 96 languages. This innovative approach aims to enhance safety measures and ensure everyone’s well-being during this sacred time.
