Unbelievable! Mona Tougaard’s jaw-dropping runway moment at Paris Fashion Week

032c Unveils Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 Collection at Paris Fashion Week

DUBAI: The buzz at Paris Fashion Week this week was all about Berlin-based magazine-turned-fashion label 032c as they presented their menswear spring/summer 2025 collection. The star of the show? Middle Eastern model Mona Tougaard.

Mona Tougaard Stuns on the Runway

With a mix of Danish, Turkish, Somali, and Ethiopian ancestry, Tougaard commanded attention as she strutted down the runway in a form-fitting suit. Her look was completed with a cropped blazer, a blue buttoned-shirt layered underneath, dark shades, and slicked-back hair in a low bun.

She wasn’t alone in representing the region on the catwalk. British Moroccan model Nora Attal joined Tougaard, rocking a sheer, reflective fishnet-like black dress.

Amelia Gray Makes a Statement

American catwalk star Amelia Gray also made a splash, confidently donning the first ensemble of the show – a skintight black outfit with contrasting collared additions.

The Collection: “Everything Counts”

Designed by Maria Koch, the collection titled “Everything Counts” featured a range of outerwear, feminine suiting, and versatile denim co-ords suitable for any occasion. Collarless 032c jackets with tonal gothic lettering, army parkas, deconstructable cargo pants, and boxy vinyl tops were just a few highlights.

The party-ready looks included sheer gowns adorned with rhinestones, offering a provocative yet glamorous touch. Khaki-toned staple suiting, shimmering bottoms, “Workshop”-printed hoodies, and blurred floral shirts in collaboration with artist Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili rounded out the collection.

A Runway Experience Like No Other

The venue’s elongated corridors reverberated with techno beats, setting the stage for a runway show like no other. Models showcased timeless, dance floor-ready outfits as the music swelled to a crescendo.

In a recent Instagram post, 032c announced Tougaard’s new role as the artistic talent director for the collection, highlighting her integral role within the brand’s creative processes alongside Maria Koch and fashion director Ras Bartram.

From Elite Model Look to Fashion Icon

Tougaard’s journey in the fashion industry began in 2017 when she won the Elite Model Look Denmark competition at just 15 years old. Since then, she has worked with top designers and luxury brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Chanel, and Valentino, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the industry.
