Saudi Initiative Unveils Talented Students

In a groundbreaking announcement, the results of the National Talented Identification Program in Saudi Arabia have been revealed, showcasing the exceptional talents of around 100,000 students in its 14th year.

Managed by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Mawhiba foundation and the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, represented by the National Center for Assessment, this program aims to identify and nurture gifted individuals.

Basil Al-Sadhan, Mawhiba’s deputy secretary-general for gifted services, emphasized the program’s success, highlighting the achievements of past participants who have gone on to become respected figures in various fields, from academia to entrepreneurship.

With over 84,000 selected students set to participate in educational programs this year, the total number of students benefiting from the initiative has now surpassed 215,000 since its inception. Students undergo rigorous testing in areas such as mental flexibility, mathematical reasoning, spatial reasoning, scientific and mechanical reasoning, linguistic reasoning, and reading comprehension.
