Royal Saudi Naval Forces Commander Meets with US Counterpart
In a recent development, Vice Admiral Fahd Al-Ghufaili of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces sat down with Vice Admiral George Wikoff, the commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, Fifth Fleet, and Combined Maritime Forces, along with his delegation. The Saudi Defense Ministry made this meeting public on X date.
The main focus of the meeting was to discuss the collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the US, with the goal of bolstering maritime security in the region.
In a separate event, Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Abdulrahman bin Ayyaf Al-Muqrin engaged in talks with Mauritania’s Minister of Defense, Hanena Ould Sidi, on Thursday. Their discussions, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency, revolved around military and defense cooperation, as well as strategies to further strengthen this partnership.
