The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has officially opened registrations for its prestigious prize, welcoming individuals and organizations from across the globe to participate.

The deadline for registration is June 30, with a total prize value of approximately SR1.6 million ($427,000), as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, the academy’s secretary-general, emphasized the importance of the prize in supporting and promoting the Arabic language both locally and internationally. He highlighted the role of the prize in honoring exceptional individuals and fostering a deeper connection to Arabic within the Arab community.

Works submitted for the prize will undergo a thorough evaluation process by 18 judges from various countries, assessing criteria such as creativity, impact, and innovation.
